About Me

Peggy Blaylock, LCSW, CSAC, MSW

Hi there, I’m so excited that you landed on my page. Please take time to read the information that I put together on my website so you can get to know me a little better and what I can offer you.

My name is Peggy Blaylock. I graduated with a Master’s degree in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Substance Abuse Counselor, Certified Telehealth Specialist and Professional Coach. I have been practicing for over 20 years and specialize in individual adult services. I love providing services online and have found it to be a very effective way to connect with my clients.

We all need a safe environment and someone to talk to who will listen, pay attention, and help discover solutions that work best for us. My goal is to provide that for you. I’ve been told that I’m very easy to talk with and down-to-earth. I like to bring some humor to our sessions when appropriate.

My desire is to guide and support you in identifying what needs to change, discovering your potential to change, and assisting you in developing healthy coping skills.

When working with me you will experience a judgment free space where you will be heard and understood. I want to give you the chance to share with me and move at a pace that is comfortable for you. One of the things I find very satisfying is helping people discover a healthy way to transition and adjust to new life situations.

I have received positive responses from clients regarding the open and honest feedback that I give in a compassionate manner that puts them at ease. I know you will benefit from talking to someone and I can be that person who encourages you and believes in you.

I hope to hear from you soon. Take care!

Peggy
